MSC Cruises - MSC Lirica
With the launch of their new prestigious ship, the MSC Lirica, MSC Cruise Lines is offering an amazing cruise at an outstanding deal. Starting at just $575 per person for an interior room, guests can enjoy an 11-day cruise through the Mediterranean on an elegant, Italian style cruise ship offering every amenity that you can think of.

Sailing from the beautiful Genoa, Italy, the MSC Lirica will arrive in the exquisite harbor of Barcelona, Spain, the morning after departing. Barcelona is the perfect mix of exciting outdoor fun, education and culture. With extraordinary museums and monuments, stunning beaches, and nightlife like no other, it is impossible to be bored while visiting Barcelona. In addition to all this, the shopping is fantastic. The official currency in Spain is the Euro and tourists that need to exchange U.S. dollars should do so before they arrive in order to save money in fees.

From Barcelona, the next stop on the itinerary is Casablanca, Morocco. Since Morocco is a country with a unique combination of Eastern and Western traditions and culture, a day there is sure to be unforgettable. Some of the best spots are The Golfe de Madeira golf course and the fabulous scenery surrounding it, the hills and coastline of Madeira and the beautiful beaches lined with sparkling blue waters. Another of the ships destinations that uses the Euro, be sure to exchange your money if you plan on purchasing any of the great specialty items Madeira has to offer, including wine.

The next three stops for the MSC Lirica are all in Spain, so be sure to have lots of Euro ready if you plan on shopping or experiencing any of the amazing restaurants and/nightclubs. First, the cruise ship with frequent the Canary Islands, where guests can enjoy beautiful, white sand beaches that stretch for miles. From there, the Lirica will sail to Cadiz, Spain, the ideal, peaceful vacation spot. With shady palm trees, quiet beaches, and an outstanding view from virtually anywhere in the city, Cadiz is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your surroundings. From the peaceful Cadiz, the MSC Lirica will then move on to Malaga, where there is more to do and see then is possible, regardless of how long the stay is. Be sure to check out the amazing cathedrals and beautiful port area.

After 11 days of cruising the Mediterranean to all of these fabulous places, the MSC Lirica will return to Genoa, Italy. Genoa is located on Italy's west coast and is most famous for being the hometown of Christopher Columbus. Be sure to check out the port area as well as the home that Columbus grew up in before catching a plane back to the U.S. The shopping in Genoa is great and a perfect place to use up those extra Euros left over from the cruise.
