No one knows a companies prospects better than its management. If follows, that any buys and sells by insiders should be given a second look. Heavy buying into weakness is an especially strong signal. Similarley, big insider selling while shilling the stock on TV (I’m looking at you Mr. Toll) is a strong sell signal. Below is a chart from the WSJ of firms with heavy insider buying. You could do worse than just tagging along.
